This provides a platform for all Service Group Beach Volunteers to sign up for each Ocean Therapy session in the 2026 Season.
A Service Group Beach Volunteer is an individual who wants to support the session and participants but may not be as comfortable in the ocean.They perform a number of important duties including:- Session Support: helping set up and take down the tents, check in, bringing hydration to the participants during the Surf Session, rinsing boards and wetsuits after the Surf Session, lunch preparation and serving, and clean up.
- Surf Instruction: Adept surfers will be asked to be assigned to a participant for Surf Instruction
- Water Safety: In water support for Surf Instructors
Assignments and supervision will be given on the Beach by the Beach Manager.
