Ventura Naval Base Wounded Warriors

Navy Wounded Warrior helps seriously wounded, ill, or injured sailors and Coast Guardsmen (including those at Naval Base Ventura County) by offering individualized “non-medical care management” — from bedside support through long-term recovery and reintegration. Services include help with pay/benefits, caregiver and family support, adaptive sports and reconditioning, job training or transition assistance, lodging and housing adaptations, childcare, childcare support, transport, and more. Through a personalized “Comprehensive Recovery Plan,” NWW works to support each enrolled service member’s recovery goals, whether that means returning to duty or transitioning to civilian life.
